90 Day Fiancé Star, Jason Hitch, Arrested for Domestic Battery

But it turns out, Jason Hitch and his wife Cassia do not seem destined for a K-1 visa happily ever after. It was reported previously that this couple’s relationship was on the rocks but it seems to have really exploded this last week. Jason was arrested on January 23 at the home he shares with Cassia for domestic battery.

Radar Online obtained the incident report from that night and it reports the details of how the night unfolded. In the report, Cassia goes by her first name Rita. The report states, ““Rita Hitch and her husband, Jason Hitch, began arguing over marital issues while lying in bed,” the reporting officer wrote. “Jason then grabbed Rita by her left arm, leaving a mark and then pushed Rita off of the bed causing her to fall to the floor. Jason then began screaming at Rita to the point Rita was in fear and dialed 911 for law enforcement.”

Jason then continued to yell at Cassia and then told her to sleep on the couch. He grabbed her arm so hard that it left a mark and the officer noted that Cassia had some redness above her elbow. When the officer asked Jason about his version of the events, Jason denied any knowledge of the mark on Cassia’s arm. Jason told the officer that “nothing happened” and Cassia was being “rude and refused to sleep on the couch.” The officer also said that, “I asked Jason if he pushed Rita off of the bed and Jason stated he moved the mattress, which caused Rita to fall off the bed,” the report read. “Jason refused to fill out a sworn written statement with what he stated occurred.”

Jason did an exclusive interview with Radar Online earlier this month that Cassia has moved out before Thanksgiving but that they were still married. He blamed the lack of communication and her tendency to spend a lot of money for the reason for the split. He said that the time they were visiting a therapist about once a week to help work through the issues. Looks like the therapist is going to have to put in overtime with this couple.

Jason was arrested for domestic battery and transported to Hernando County Jail that night and his court date is February 15 at 9am.

Animal Abuse Controversy over the Movie A Dog’s Purpose

 Oh man we really were ready to watch this movie and cry our eyes out over this movie about dogs. But, TMZ just released some behind the scenes footage of a particular scene in the movie that shows a German Shepard being visibly forced into churning water against his will. The leaked footage shows a scene shot in a pool outside Winnipeg, Canada in November 2015. The trainer is clearly forcibly shoving a German Shepherd into the rushing water and the dog is resisting and clawing the edge in desperation.

The footage has caused a huge uproar and animal rights activists are up in arms and are asking people to boycott the film. Sources on set say that ultimately the dog went into the rushing water which was created by 8 outboard motors which was meant to create a raging river for a scene in the movie. Sources also said that the director, Lasse Hallström, was present the whole time.

Amblin Partners and Universal Pictures have seen the video and released a statement to TMZ that said, “Fostering a safe environment and ensuring the ethical treatment of our animal actors was of the utmost importance to those involved in making this film and we will look into the circumstances surrounding this video.”

The clip caused the American Humane Association to suspend the rep they had on set in Winnipeg. The AHA and the Chief Veterinary Office of Manitoba are also doing their own investigations to see what happened during that scene and why the dog was being forced against his will to jump into the water. PETA is asking for a boycott, and the premiere of A Dog’s Purpose was canceled, and so was its press junket in wake of the leaked footage.

Many people in the movie have spoken out about the video. The movie’s producer Gavin Polone wrote a long piece for The Hollywood Reporter about the video and he admits that what happened in the clip is inexcusable, but adds that the video is highly edited and makes it look like Hercules was thrown in and almost drowned. He also went on to say that he reviewed the footage again and he says that when the Shepard went into the water he did it of his own accord. He also called out the person who sold the photo to TMZ saying that if they truly cared then they would not have profited from the incident. Dennis Quaid, who stars in the movie, says that he never saw mistreatment of animals. He said that, “I was there. I never saw any abuse of any animal. If there had been, I would have walked. I certainly would have not been out here supporting the film if any abuse had occurred.”

After watching the video, we have a hard time believing that the dog wanted to go into the water on its own. He looks absolutely terrified and we completely understand why PETA wants to the movie to be boycotted.

Paris Jackson Drops Murder Bombshell About Father Michael in Latest Interview

paris-jackson-rolling-stone-interviewParis Jackson, daughter of the late Michael Jackson, dropped a bombshell in her first ever in-depth interview. Paris  was interviewed by Rolling Stone and she revealed that she believes that her father was murdered. She also said that she was raped when she was younger and that she tried to commit suicide multiple times. Paris was only 11 years old when her father died of a cardiac arrest but she believes that he was “setup” to die.

During the interview she said that her father would make suggestions that his life being in danger. “He would drop hints about people being out to get him. And at some point he was like, ‘They’re gonna kill me one day”, Paris said. She also went on to say, “It’s obvious. All arrows point to that. It sounds like a total conspiracy theory and it sounds like bulls***, but all real fans and everybody in the family knows it. It was a setup. It was bulls***.”

Michael’s own personal physician Dr Conrad Murray was later convicted of involuntary manslaughter and sentenced to four years in prison over his death. Paris did say that she does blame Dr. Murray for the death of her father but that it was part of a larger, sinister conspiracy. She won’t give the details of what she believed the conspiracy to be but she did say, “And I am trying to play the chess game the right way. And that’s all I can say about that right now.”

During the interview Paris also admitted that she was raped as a teen by a much older stranger. She was only 14 when she was sexually assaulted. Paris then went on a downward spiral of depression and drug addiction. She tried to commit suicide several times and hid her injuries from self harm from her family. Paris said she went to a therapeutic school in Utah after her last suicide attempt, and the school helped heal a lot of her wounds from her past and she changed into a completely different person.

Paris does seem to be on a better path in life. She is currently dating Michael Snoddy and works as a model. She is hoping to get into acting very soon.

Steve Harvey in Court this Week to Testify in Racist Rant Trial

Steve Harvey lawsuit Steve Harvey is expected to testify from January 24th until the 27th in a lawsuit. Harvey is being sued for breach of contract by a former employee, Joseph Cooper.  Cooper claims to have nearly 120 hours of footage of Harvey going off on racist rants and spouting off highly hateful and disturbing statements. Cooper wants the freedom to sell the tapes. Harvey then turned around and sued Cooper insisting the Dallas man was trying to extort him for $5 million with the potentially damaging recordings. Harvey, a tv comic, is concerned the tapes will ruin his image that he has worked to turn into a squeaky clean one.

Cooper was hired in 1993 to videotape Harvey’s comedy act at the Steve Harvey Comedy Club in Dallas. Harvey’s court filings alleged that Cooper tried to sell old recordings of the star’s comedy routines, made more than 20 years ago, because of the sensitive material they contained. Harvey’s lawsuit stated that, “Mr. Cooper has initiated a campaign to essentially extort me, coerce me and embarrass me as I started to build my entertainment career.”

According to Cooper, one week is not enough to get to the bottom of it. He filed his own court documents insisting that Harvey be physically present “for the entirety of the trial,” no matter how long it lasts. Cooper believes that is important that Harvey attend because the lawsuit is complex. Harvey’s fame could potentially become an issue. The trial started today with jury selection and paperwork filed by the plaintiffs team shows they planned to ask potential jurors if “the notoriety of Defendant Steve Harvey to consider any testimony or evidence offered on his behalf more or less believable.”

This is an interesting case, Steve Harvey was known for his edgier comedic routines in his younger years. Now, as the hose of Family Feud, his image has completely changed to a wholesome one. It makes sense why he would want to suppress those tapes because as far as we can tell, the content is pretty offensive.

Teen Mom OG Star, Amber Portwood, Sued by Former Landlord

Amber Portwood twitterAnother day, another Teen Mom scandal. This time Amber Portwood is at the center of the latest Teen Mom drama. She always seem to be at the center at some kind of drama. This time, it’s her former landlord who has beef with the reality tv star. The Daily Mail reported that they had obtained legal documents that state that an Indiana debt collector, Zuluscape, is suing the reality star on behalf of the Teen Mom’s former landlord. The company filed that suit earlier this month.

The ex-landlord is demanding more than $6,000 in damages and unpaid rent from Amber Portwood after her pets left a ‘nasty’ odor in a rental home and destroyed the home. The suit alleges that the landlord had to paint the walls of the entire home and put in new carpets because of the  nasty pet stench left behind. Court documents also show that Portwood left the house a disaster and vacated the house without paying the rest of the rent due on the lease.

Amber signed the lease on the Indianapolis property in July 2015 and it expired the following June. She and her fiancé, Matt Baier, reportedly lived together in the home with her six-year-old daughter, Leah, Baier’s two rescue dogs and two kittens. Amber initially agreed to pay $1,200 a month in rent, $1,150 as a security deposit and a $200 pet fee. In July, Zuluscape wrote to Portwood claiming the damage totaled more than $7,000. They claim that the $7,000 was to install new ‘deodorized’ carpets, the removal of all the things she left behind, dry wall damage repair, new door knobs, cleaning fees and new coats of ‘deodorized’ paint to mask the smell of her pets and that she owes $1,648.24 in unpaid rent.

Amber has since responded with allegations with her own. And of course, Amber used Twitter to air her thoughts about this lawsuit. She tweeted, “So I wake up to some scam artist company trying to sue me for a cleaning deposit over a year ago. On a house we had professionally cleaned??”. The scam artist that she is referring to is the company Zuluscape. She then followed up with another tweet that said, “Lord people never go on TV! Because people will try to take you for everything you have. Here comes the lawyers. So sad honestly…Ugh”.

For anyone that has seen the show, they know that Amber lets her dogs use the carpet as a litter box. She also loves animals and has adopted many rescue animals, which is amazing, but it comes as no surprise that the landlord decided to sue. Every time they show a scene with Amber and her dogs, the house is always is disarray. Well we can’t wait to see if the landlord ever gets their money.
