Nicki Minaj Confirms Split with Meek Mill After Two Years Together

Nicki Minaj tweet Nicki Minaj has decided it was finally time to dump Meek Mill after almost two years together. It was about time. Nicki has stood by Meek through a house arrest and a very publicized beef with Drake which Meek was on the losing end. TMZ was the first to report their suspicion that the couple had called it quits and Nicki herself confirmed this via a tweet she posted to her Twitter account.

TMZ’s reporter Raquel was the first to suggest that the couple had called it quits. She noticed that the couple went to extreme lengths to avoid each other on New Years and it appears that they did not spend Christmas together. Also in December, Nicki posted a somewhat cryptic message on her Instagram with a quote from Beyonce’s break up song titled, “Best Thing I Never Had”. She wrote “Thank God u blew it. Thank God I dodged the bullet. I’m so over u. Baby good lookin out. #BestThingUNeverHad.” After that post, Meek Mill deleted his Instagram.

Nicki finally made an announcement on Twitter confirming the split. She said, “To confirm, yes I am single. Focusing on my work and looking forward to sharing it with you guys really soon. Have a blessed New Year. Love u.”

The couple was first spotted together in 2015 and shortly after, Nicki was spotted wearing a huge diamond ring on her engagement ring finger. She said that they were not planning on getting married at that Meek was just a boy who really liked her. She stood by him when he picked a fight with Drake who was a long time friend of Nicki’s and a friend of Meek’s as well. Meek posted a tweet that claimed that Drake doesn’t write his own tracks and Drake did not take that well. Meek was on the losing end of that battle when Drake released two of the most ultimate diss tracks of all time titled, “Charged up” and “Back to Back”. Nicki stayed relatively silent on the whole fight but ultimately, we think that it was the start to the end of this relationship.

Janet Jackson Gives Birth to Baby Boy at age 50

janet-jackson-pregnantWe reported a few months ago that Janet Jackson was pregnant for the first time at age 50. The world was surprised that she was actually able to get pregnant but by some medical miracle it happened and now she is the proud mama to a little boy named Eissa Al Mana. They have yet to release any photos of the little bundle of joy and we hope that they do because we can’t wait to see what he looks like!

A rep for Jackson’s released a statement to People magazine that says, “Janet Jackson and husband Wissam Al Mana are thrilled to welcome their new son Eissa Al Mana into the world. Janet had a stress-free healthy delivery and is resting comfortably.”

Rumors started to swirl last year when the singer postponed her Unbreakable World Tour. Before the second leg she released a video stating the real reason why she had to postpone the tour.

“We’re in the second leg of the tour, and there actually has been a sudden change,” she said in the clip. “I thought it was important that you be the first to know. My husband and I are planning our family,” she continued. “So I’m going to have to delay the tour.”

There was a lot of doubt that the singer could get pregnant at age 50. But to the surprise of her fans,   she was spotted out running errands with a noticeable baby bump. She stayed very quiet about her pregnancy and did not release any statements announcing the pregnancy.

Janet Jackson married her husband, Qatari businessman, Wissam Al Mana in 2012. They were also very quiet about their wedding ceremony too. They had an intimate, small wedding and they decided to make contributions to their favorite charities in lieu of gifts. Privacy has always been a very big deal to this couple so it’s no surprise that they were also mum about the pregnancy.

Mariah Brown comes out as GayThis is a twist we didn’t see coming. Mariah, 21, the daughter of Kody and Meri, came out as a lesbian on the latest episode of the hit TLC show, Sister Wives. The episode showed Mariah gathering all her parents together to make a big announcement. After all the weddings that have happened on that show, it was a logical to assume that maybe she was getting married as well. But surprise! She is actually gay and we applaud her for coming out and being so open and honest about it.

Mariah is the only biological child of Kody and his first/ex wife Meri. She came home from college in Utah and called a family meeting with her parents and one grandparent. She told them that she has a big announcement to make. Her other mom, Christine, commented that she hoped the big news would be that she would be transferring from her college in Utah to UNLV, which is closer to home. Kody’s guess was that she had already gotten into medical school and Mariah replied that she has even applied yet. Time seemed to drag on and poor Mariah looked unbelievably uncomfortable.

After the awkward small talk, Mariah blurted out her big news. She just simply stated, “I’m gay.” Her mother Meri didn’t say anything but her mouth fell open and her other mom’s asked if she was serious and if she was sure. She responded that yes she was very sure. The episode ended with Mariah’s big reveal but scenes from next week’s episode show the aftermath of the announcement.

We are excited for next week’s episode. The teaser scenes from next week show Meri struggling with Mariah’s announcement. She cried and said, “I did not see it coming… I thought I knew my daughter, I didn’t.” Meri also is seen getting mad at Kody and Robin who appear happy about the news. Kody, in a surprise move said that he was just happy that she knows who she is. Meri seems to be pretty upset about the news.

We are happy for Mariah. It takes a lot to come out and we give her credit for being brave. It especially can’t be easy to come out to your family on tv. Best of luck to her and we hope that her mom Meri can accept Mariah for who she is.

Musicians Jennifer Lopez, 47, and Drake, 30, have seem to be hinting that they are a hot new item. They both posted a pretty romantic photo on their official Instagram accounts early on Wednesday morning.

There was no explanation attached to the photo so fans were left speculating as to the truth behind the photo but it seems like Drake and JLo are more than just friends.  The 47-year-old mom-of-two was the first to post on to post the loving picture, which shows her younger contemporary wrapping both arms affectionately around her neck with one eye staring down the lens of the camera.

Rumors started flying about a potential relationship when Drake attended two of Jennifer’s shows in Las Vegas back to back and then went to a intimate gathering together. The gossip mill just assumed that they might be friends because Rihanna and JLo and friends and Rihanna and Drake have always had an on again off again relationship.

Rihanna and Drake have never really confirmed a relationship status. They always insisted that they were just friends until about 2009 when they were spotted kissing. They still insisted that they were just friends. They have collaborated on music together and have always seemed to be going fine until now. It appears that Rihanna has unfollowed both Drake and JLo on Instagram so it appears that maybe they were more than just friends despite the insistence that they were never together.

We are pretty stoked on this couple. Although there is quite the age difference, JLo has never looked better. We wish them the best!

Carrie Fisher dead of a Heart AttackIt is with a very heavy heart that we are reporting that another much loved celebrity has passed away this week. First we lose George Michael and now TMZ has reported that Carrie Fisher has died of a hearth attack on Tuesday morning.

It was reported that while on a flight from London to LAX on Friday, Carrie Fisher suffered a major heart attack 15 minutes before landing. Witnesses on the plane reported that Fisher appeared to be lifeless. There was a passenger on the flight who was an EMT who was able to preform CPR on Fisher once the flight had landed at LAX. An ambulance took her immediately to the ULCA Medical Center where she was in intensive care until she passed.

Her mother, Debbie Reynolds, released a statement this weekend stating that the Star Wars star was in stable condition. Fans were convinced that Fisher was going to pull through.

Her family spokesman Simon Halls released a statement on behalf of Fisher’s daughter, Billie Lourd. “It is with a very deep sadness that Billie Lourd confirms that her beloved mother Carrie Fisher passed away at 8:55 this morning,” reads the statement. “She was loved by the world and she will be missed profoundly. Our entire family thanks you for your thoughts and prayers.”

Our hearts go out to the family. Carrie Fisher was an iconic actress and she will be remembered with fondness around the Celeb Voice.
