Teen Mom Star Amber Portwood Vows to “Never Stop Fighting” for her Children After Losing Custody of her Four-Year-Old Son

The Teen Mom OG star has come out fighting against a court ruling that granted her ex Andrew Glennon sole legal and physical custody of their child James. In a statement provided to US Weekly, Portwood, 32, said, “I’ve worked so hard to better myself and improve my relationships with my children. I’ve always been candid about my past substance abuse and struggles with mental illness, a person should have the chance to redeem themselves and not be tethered to their problems from the past.”

Not only did the judge grant Andrew sole legal and physical custody but he also granted Glennon’s request to move James from Indiana to Glennon’s family home in California. Portwood currently resides in Indiana. The judge, however, did order Glennon to ask and consider the mother’s opinion before making any major decisions regarding medical treatment, education or religion.

The judge also ordered both parents to undergo monthly drug screening for the next six months and Portwood must attend individual counseling with a therapist of her choosing and must follow the suggestions made by that therapist. Despite the strict ruling, Portwood was allowed overnight visits with James. Portwood lost overnight visits in 2019.

The custody battle started in 2019 after Portwood was arrested for domestic battery in July of 2019. She allegedly chased Glennon around with a machete and threatened suicide. Portwood pled guilty to two felony charges of domestic battery and intimidation. She was sentenced to 906 days of probation and 26 weeks of parenting classes.

Portwood and Glennon started dating in 2017. The two met on the set of Marriage Bootcamp, where Portwood was participating with her ex-fiancé Matt Baier. Two weeks after filming ended, Glennon reached out to Portwood and the two were spotted kissing three months after Portwood broke up with Baier.

Portwood’s legal troubles have been widely reported. However, Glennon is also no stranger to the legal system. He has been accused of stalking by two ex-girlfriends who both served him with restraining orders. RadarOnline reported Glennon was once arrested on drug possession charges. He was in possession of heroin and MDMA and was under the influence. He also was later arrested for possession of a deadly weapon. In 2014 he was arrested for drunk driving.

During Portwood and Glennon’s custody hearing, Glennon admitted to draining the couple’s joint bank account for $38,000 and transferring it to his personal account while Portwood was in jail. Also around the same time, Glennon created a GoFundMe to cover the legal costs of the custody battle and told fans if they donated money, they could meet James.

In response to the legal loss, Portwood said she loves her children more than anything and will never stop fighting for them.

Amber Portwood announces she is quitting Teen Mom OGThe hits just keep coming. The fallout from the Teen Mom OG Reunion just keeps on going. It is literally the gift that keeps on giving this season. The latest drama is that Amber Portwood has made an announcement on Instagram that she has quit the show. But hold the phone, her co-star Farrah Abraham, says that Amber is bluffing.

Amber posted an older photo of the Teen Mom OG cast with the caption, “I’ll be leaving #TeenMomOG sadly. The lack of respect is too much anymore! But still sending all my love!” She went on to explain the reason behind her departure is the fact that she feels like the reunion brawl was heavily edited to portray her as the villain in the now infamous fight.

She then went on Twitter to further explain her stance on the issue. She tweeted, “The day I’m shown some respect by the people I’ve worked with for 8 years is the day I’ll be back. I’ve sacrificed a lot for this show.”  She went on to say that she feels like she has been treated unfairly and that since the reunion show she has continued to feel disrespected to this day. She also doesn’t feel safe anymore. She said, “Nothing has been dealt with or has made me feel any safer to even move on with people who have continuously hidden things from the network.”

Farrah told Radar Online that she highly doubts that Amber will be quitting anytime soon. She then delivered this epic burn, ““Amber would never quit or any of the other girls,” she told Radar. “They all need the money, especially their boyfriends.”

Farrah isn’t entirely incorrect about this statement. Matt doesn’t appear to have a job and neither does Amber. He wrote and book and we guess they flip homes on the side but neither of those ventures are sustainable long term. They make great money from the show for literally doing nothing but being on tv. We actually agree with Farrah on this one, we don’t think that Amber will be quitting anytime soon.

More Fallout from the Teen Mom OG Reunion Special Fight

The drama just keeps coming with this crew. Although the reunion special was taped weeks ago, the fallout from the fight that rocked Teen Mom fans has yet to stop. There is still some drama happening and it’s safe to say that Farrah and Amber’s family will not be getting together for a picnic anytime soon. I am going to assume that they are going to be enemies for life. Twitter is going to be a a sh!t talking hellscape for these two ladies because Twitter is their weapon of choice and we can’t wait to see what they have to say about each other.

Michael Abraham spoke exclusively to Radar Online about what has happened to him since the reunion special finished filming a few weeks ago. Michael claims that he is still recovering from injuries he sustained when Matt Baier attacked him on the stage.  He said, ““I’m still under treatment and on worker’s comp,” he told Radar. “I’m a disabled vet, he destroyed my hearing aid. Matt didn’t know the can of worms he opened when he hit me.”

For readers that didn’t get a chance to see the fight, when Amber Portwood tried to slap Farrah after Farrah made the comment about Matt being a pedophile, Michael intervened. Matt then rushed on stage and pushed Michael to the ground. We watched the reunion special and Michael did get pushed to the ground pretty hard.

Michael said, “I was onstage to protect my daughter,” Michael defended. “Matt didn’t have to come on. No one hit Amber. Everyone was trying to stop Amber from hitting Farrah.”  We are not huge Farrah fans, but this statement by Michael is pretty accurate. What Farrah said was out of line, but Amber was definitely the aggressor in this situation.

US Weekly interviewed Farrah about the fight and she told the publication that MTV is working very hard to try and make Farrah feel safe. She told them that, “‘I didn’t have to attend the rest of the reunion or specials [because of what I consider Amber’s] criminal behavior.” She then added that, “MTV legal has said I no longer will ever have to work with or around Maci, Catelynn or Amber. They are not to be trusted, and the network knows how to keep them sequestered together and myself separate from now on.” She then went on to say that MTV is praying to god that Michael doesn’t sue them for this injuries and that MTV is covering the cost of all his medical bills and paying to replace his hearing aids.

MTV did not provide a comment on the situation.

Farrah Abraham and Amber Portwood fight during Teen Mom OG reunion specialWe have been hearing so many rumors about this alleged brawl on the Teen Mom OG Reunion Special and the episode with what was deemed the “biggest fight in Teen Mom history” was finally aired and we were not disappointed.

Rumors had been flying around about a fight that happened on set during the reunion special between Farrah Abraham and Amber Portwood. Sources watching the show claimed that the fight started because Farrah’s drama loving boyfriend, Simon Saran, called Amber’s boyfriend a pedophile. Dr. Drew was asking Simon about his negative SnapChats about his co-stars when he said that Matt Baier looks like a pedophile. When Dr. Drew said the comment was over the line, Farrah piped in with “I’m sorry that Matt probably looks like it!” and Amber was not going to let Farrah get away with saying that about her man. She stormed on stage and that is when all hell broke loose.

Amber ran out on stage screaming, ““F**k that f-ing bitch. Just because someone is 20 years older than you doesn’t make them a pedophile. Shut your f-ing mouth. I’m going to stand up for my man.” And that is the part of the story that the media reported and that is all Teen Mom fans knew until last night.

What people didn’t see was Amber storm the stage and then slap Farrah across the face. People then tried to hold her back but when she was able to get through Farrah’s dad, Michael, stepped in-between the two to get Amber to back down. Matt then pushed Michael to the ground. Things escalated pretty quickly at that point. Farrah then screamed, ““Both of the criminals will do s**t,” Abraham shouted and then asked, “Michael, do you want to call the police on the criminals? Because they have to visit jail.”

Amber and Matt were then ushered off stage by security and then things seemed to calm down. Co-stars, Maci Bookout and Catelynn Lowell came to her aid and helped to calm her down but they did express their displeasure with Farrah for her instigating the fight.

Dr. Drew continued his segment with Farrah and tried to discuss with her what just happened and how this is a complete 180 from where their relationship was at the beginning of the season. Amber and Farrah have always gotten along or at least had a mutual respect for each other. When Dr. Drew asked her about her friendship with Amber, Farrah responded with, “They want to hit people they want to behave like criminals that’s them,” she said. “It’s not like I’m here to hit people. She’s crazy and I don’t want her in my life and anyone else who associates with her in my life.”

Well it looks like these two won’t be sharing friendship bracelets anytime soon. Farrah is constantly feuding with literally everyone. Everyone loves a bad guy on reality TV and Farrah is a perfect fit for that role. There is still fallout from this fight and fans have ever started a petition on change.org to get her kicked off the show. But we all know that is never going to happen, and Farrah knows it is not going to happen. As unbearable as she is, people will watch for her drama filled antics.

Teen Mom’s OG Matt Baier has Written a Book

matt_baier_book_coverWe literally cannot with this guy. He has always seemed like a lying scumbag who was using Amber for the spotlight. There has been a lot of conflicting information about Matt Baier out there so he decided it was high time to write a book to set the record straight. With the assistance of blogger Matt Richards, the book titled You Have No F**king Idea: The Naked Truth About My Life, is his way of righting all the wrongs that have been printed about him in the media. The book’s cover is also a very unpleasant photo of Matt naked except with a leather jackets covering his private area. Even with the jacket we are still cringing to death over here. The book is due out in May 2017 but for those who are gluttons for punishment, you can preorder the book on Amazon.

For those who don’t remember, Matt started dating Amber after he met her on Twitter. It later came out that he had reached out to other Teen Mom stars like Farrah and Jenelle on Twitter trying to get there attention but he was for good reasons ignored. Amber was the only one to actually respond. Once he started appearing on the show, numerous women had started to report that Matt was a deadbeat dad who got them pregnant and then just took off and has never paid a dime of child support. A total of seven women reported that he had fathered kids with them but he claims there are only five.

We are slightly interested in reading this book? He keeps admitting he has made some mistakes but yet claims that every that the evil media has written about him is false. So it’s gonna be very interesting to see what he cops to in the book about his past. Personally, we think this is just another con job.
