Josh Duhamel and Fergie are Separating After 8 Years of Marriage

Sad days in the world f celebrity couples, Fergie and Josh Duhamel have ended their marriage after 8 years together. The couple were married for eight year but have been in a relationship for a total of 13 years. The ex-couple have a 4 year old son together named Axl. They released a joint statement to People that revealed they actually split months ago but out of privacy reasons kept it quiet until now.

The statement that they released to People said that, “With absolute love and respect we decided to separate as a couple earlier this year. To give our family the best opportunity to adjust, we wanted to keep this a private matter before sharing it with the public. We are and will always be united in our support of each other and our family.”

Recently, Fergie has been pictured out in Brazil this week promoting her new album, Double Duchess, while Duhamel was pictured out in Los Angeles, taking care of their young son. Before this week, the couple had not been pictured out together in a long time.

The last time pictures of them as a couple that were made public were pictures that both of them posted to their Instagram accounts celebrating their 8th wedding anniversary. Duhamel posted a photo to his Instagram account last January that was taken in Hawaii and was in honor of celebrating the couple’s 8 year wedding anniversary. Fergie posted her own photo of the couple with the caption “happy 8th anniversary to my bae”. They both appeared very happy and there were no indications that the couple was having any issues.

What’s the key to a good relationship?  In Hollywood, where it seems like people are divorcing after a year of marriage, one might feel like they are fighting an uphill battle. Dax Shepard revealed in a new interview that he and his wife, Kristen Bell, started going to therapy early on in their relationship. They are a pretty likable couple. Dax is funny and dorky, and Kristen is adorable and cute.

Shepard, stated on Good Morning America, that the secret of his successful romantic relationship with Bell is going to therapy. Not because there are existing issues, but setting a foundation and understanding for their relationship. “We went to therapy early on to learn what our pattern of arguing was and where we needed to stop that,” Shepard explained. “It’s great too because you go to the therapist and he listens to you talk for about 30 seconds, and then he’s like, ‘I got it.’ Kudos to the couple for talking openly about how to make a successful relationship and not be passive. Too many relationships are based on emotion and not enough effort and intentional action. It’s great to hear about a Hollywood couple being pro-active about relationship success.

The actor also noted that he believes couples often seek counseling when it’s too late. “Most people wait until the thing is exploding before they see a professional,” he said on Wednesday morning. “I thought maybe an ounce of prevention this go-around would be advisable.”

The Hollywood duo who tied the knot in 2013, six years after meeting each other in 2007 are now starring together in CHiPs, a revival of the iconic ‘70s TV series. In the film, Bell plays the ex-wife of Shepard’s pro-racer-turned-highway-cop Jon Baker. CHiPs hits theaters on Friday, March 24.

“We have a very healthy marriage and we got there by doing therapy when we needed it, and constantly doing fierce moral inventories,” Bell said. “We both take responsibility when we are wrong, and I think it is easy to work with him because I married him, because I enjoy spending time with him and I trust him. That is exactly what I want in someone that I work with.”

The 80’s teen heartthrob, Corey Feldman and his girlfriend of four years Courtney Anne, tied the knot in Las Vegas on Tuesday. The announced their engagement about 2 weeks ago.

Corey Feldman, 45, and his 27-year-old model said ‘I do’ at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, following their engagement in Palm Springs, California two weeks ago. Feldman and his new wife had joint bachelor and bachelorette parties at Vegas’ Chateau Nightclub over the weekend. The reason for the quick nuptials was due to the couples fear over Donald Trump’s stance on immigration. They were both afraid that the model would be sent back to Canada which is where she is originally from before coming to these states to pursue her career. 

Feldman proposed to his girlfriend as they celebrated their fourth anniversary in Palm Springs. The actor admitted he was so nervous about popping the question that he popped the question with a simple note instead. The Daily Mail reported that Feldman said, “I was of course a bit nervous, as any man will admit, you never truly know what a woman is thinking. So as much as I assumed she would be happy and say “yes,” there’s always that insecure part of my brain that regresses immediately to my childhood and thought maybe not. So I kinda chickened out and did a written proposal by writing a note with two check boxes, one for yes and the other for no.”

Feldman went on to say that the model was surprised by the proposal because both of them were never anti-marriage up until the recent presidential election. He went on to say that, “She was very surprised, excited and started crying. She was surprised because we had both been so anti-marriage since we met. But seeing as she’s Canadian and with Trump coming in, we didn’t want to risk being separated by new immigration laws.”
