Josh Duggar Being Sued for Stealing Photos for his Dating Profiles

Josh Duggar being sued The pariah of the Duggar family, Josh Duggar, is back in the news again and once again it’s not for anything good. In Touch Weekly is reporting that Josh Duggar is being sued by lawyers for the LA-based DJ and photographer who claims Josh stole his image to use on the popular cheating website, Ashley Madison. Duggar stole photos from a man named Matt McCarthy and used them to pick up on women on Ashley Madison. It was discovered during the infamous Ashley Madison hack in August of 2015 that Josh Duggar had a very active account with the website and had paid $249 for the “guaranteed affair” package. He created a fake account and used McCarthy’s photo’s in order to try and  meet women willing to have an affair with him.

McCarthy In his lawsuit claims that Josh’s use of his photo caused him loss of work, harassment from the public, and prolonged pain and embarrassment. He also claims that when the scandal became public people began referring to him as “DJ Duggar” and “Duggar’s boy toy.” But the lawsuit doesn’t stop there, it goes on to state that he has suffered from “prolonged pain and suffering, anxiety, depression, embarrassment, humiliation, loss of self-esteem and extreme and severe mental anguish and emotional distress including but no limed to: frequent panic attacks, disruption of sleep and insomnia, mood changes, fits of anger, a loss of interest in pursuing both professional and personal endeavors, and a complete loss of self-confidence.”

At first, McCarthy wasn’t too upset about the fact that his photos had been stolen until the full story about Josh’s indiscretions came to light. Not only was Josh caught in the Ashley Madison hack but he also molested his younger sisters and an another unknown girl. Once McCarthy realized that such a scumbag was using his pictures, he couldn’t handle being associated with such a terrible individual. He told Gawker in 2015, “Now that I’ve found out that this guy’s a child molester, and he’s been unfaithful and all those other things-it’s awful! Especially since he’s supposed to be this stand-up religious guy. I mean, I’m not all that religious, but I do-I am very close with my family. And am basically the exact opposite of him and now, this maniac is using my pictures online to try to get laid.”

This news comes at the same time that Josh and his wife Anna announced that they are expecting their fifth child. Why they decided to bring another child into that mess of a relationship is mind boggling. They just posted an announcement on their blog a few weeks ago that said, “For nearly the last two years, we have quietly worked to save our marriage, focus on our children, and rebuild our lives together as a family. Doing so is never easy after a breach of trust. We’ve learned that a life of faith and rebuilding a life together is simply done one day at a time,” the couple wrote in their joint statement. “As we continue our journey as a family and rebuild our lives, we are delighted to share with you that we are expecting a new baby boy later this year. Beauty comes from ashes and we cannot wait to see and kiss the face of this sweet new boy!”

We really hope that McCarthy gets some kind of compensation for Josh using his photos. It is still mystifying that Anna stayed with this guy. We doubt that this will be that last time that Josh Duggar is in the news for being a degenerate.

Lawsuit Alleges that Johnny Depp Spends $2 Million a Month

Now the fact that Johnny Depp didn’t want to give Amber Heard her money from the divorce settlement, makes a lot of sense. In the ongoing lawsuit with his ex-business managers, they have now alleged that Depp spends somewhere in the ballpark of $2 million a month on his extravagant lifestyle. This allegation is in response to the fact that Depp sued his former business partners last month for $28 million for the mismanaged of his money. But they allege that he mismanages his own money.

So what exactly is Johnny spending his money on? The list seems too crazy to be true. Here is a rundown from the lawsuit of what he spends his money on:

  1. Depp allegedly also spent over $18 million on a luxury yacht.
  2. Maintains 45 “luxury vehicles”.
  3. He spends about $30,000 a month on “expensive wines that he had flown to him around the world for his personal consumption.”
  4. The craziest expenditure would be this one: “Depp also paid over $3 million to blast from a specially-made cannon the ashes of author Hunter Thompson over Aspen, Colorado.”
  5. The lawsuit also says that,”Depp spent in excess of $75 million to acquire, improve and furnish 14 residences, including a 45-acre chateau in the South of France, a chain of islands in the Bahamas, multiple houses in Hollywood, several penthouse lofts in downtown Los Angeles, and a fully-functioning horse farm in Kentucky.”
  6. Depp has amassed a collection of fine art kept in 12 different storage facilities.
  7. He also spent $4 million on a failed record company.

If these allegations are true, Depp has super poor money management skills. He makes a ton but it looks like he spends a crazy amount per month. But all that wine? Spending 30k on wine a month is bonkers. I mean, how much does he need to drink a month? It is a surprise that Disney keeps the Pirates franchise going because Depp just seems like a hot mess right now. Well this lawsuit is getting interesting, so it will be interesting to see the end result.

Steve Harvey in Court this Week to Testify in Racist Rant Trial

Steve Harvey lawsuit Steve Harvey is expected to testify from January 24th until the 27th in a lawsuit. Harvey is being sued for breach of contract by a former employee, Joseph Cooper.  Cooper claims to have nearly 120 hours of footage of Harvey going off on racist rants and spouting off highly hateful and disturbing statements. Cooper wants the freedom to sell the tapes. Harvey then turned around and sued Cooper insisting the Dallas man was trying to extort him for $5 million with the potentially damaging recordings. Harvey, a tv comic, is concerned the tapes will ruin his image that he has worked to turn into a squeaky clean one.

Cooper was hired in 1993 to videotape Harvey’s comedy act at the Steve Harvey Comedy Club in Dallas. Harvey’s court filings alleged that Cooper tried to sell old recordings of the star’s comedy routines, made more than 20 years ago, because of the sensitive material they contained. Harvey’s lawsuit stated that, “Mr. Cooper has initiated a campaign to essentially extort me, coerce me and embarrass me as I started to build my entertainment career.”

According to Cooper, one week is not enough to get to the bottom of it. He filed his own court documents insisting that Harvey be physically present “for the entirety of the trial,” no matter how long it lasts. Cooper believes that is important that Harvey attend because the lawsuit is complex. Harvey’s fame could potentially become an issue. The trial started today with jury selection and paperwork filed by the plaintiffs team shows they planned to ask potential jurors if “the notoriety of Defendant Steve Harvey to consider any testimony or evidence offered on his behalf more or less believable.”

This is an interesting case, Steve Harvey was known for his edgier comedic routines in his younger years. Now, as the hose of Family Feud, his image has completely changed to a wholesome one. It makes sense why he would want to suppress those tapes because as far as we can tell, the content is pretty offensive.

Teen Mom OG Star, Amber Portwood, Sued by Former Landlord

Amber Portwood twitterAnother day, another Teen Mom scandal. This time Amber Portwood is at the center of the latest Teen Mom drama. She always seem to be at the center at some kind of drama. This time, it’s her former landlord who has beef with the reality tv star. The Daily Mail reported that they had obtained legal documents that state that an Indiana debt collector, Zuluscape, is suing the reality star on behalf of the Teen Mom’s former landlord. The company filed that suit earlier this month.

The ex-landlord is demanding more than $6,000 in damages and unpaid rent from Amber Portwood after her pets left a ‘nasty’ odor in a rental home and destroyed the home. The suit alleges that the landlord had to paint the walls of the entire home and put in new carpets because of the  nasty pet stench left behind. Court documents also show that Portwood left the house a disaster and vacated the house without paying the rest of the rent due on the lease.

Amber signed the lease on the Indianapolis property in July 2015 and it expired the following June. She and her fiancé, Matt Baier, reportedly lived together in the home with her six-year-old daughter, Leah, Baier’s two rescue dogs and two kittens. Amber initially agreed to pay $1,200 a month in rent, $1,150 as a security deposit and a $200 pet fee. In July, Zuluscape wrote to Portwood claiming the damage totaled more than $7,000. They claim that the $7,000 was to install new ‘deodorized’ carpets, the removal of all the things she left behind, dry wall damage repair, new door knobs, cleaning fees and new coats of ‘deodorized’ paint to mask the smell of her pets and that she owes $1,648.24 in unpaid rent.

Amber has since responded with allegations with her own. And of course, Amber used Twitter to air her thoughts about this lawsuit. She tweeted, “So I wake up to some scam artist company trying to sue me for a cleaning deposit over a year ago. On a house we had professionally cleaned??”. The scam artist that she is referring to is the company Zuluscape. She then followed up with another tweet that said, “Lord people never go on TV! Because people will try to take you for everything you have. Here comes the lawyers. So sad honestly…Ugh”.

For anyone that has seen the show, they know that Amber lets her dogs use the carpet as a litter box. She also loves animals and has adopted many rescue animals, which is amazing, but it comes as no surprise that the landlord decided to sue. Every time they show a scene with Amber and her dogs, the house is always is disarray. Well we can’t wait to see if the landlord ever gets their money.

Johnny Depp Suing Former Business Mangers for $25 Million

A month ago, a judge decided put an end to the divorce battle between Johnny and his ex-wife Amber Heard when Johnny demanded that Amber give him $100,000 for his legal fees. That seemed really odd because Johnny is a multi-millionaire. However, with this most recent revelation it makes sense as to why Johnny is pretty much trying to get as much as he can out of his ex-wife, even though he actually owes her money. He is currently suing his ex-busines managers for $25 million and blames them for the mismanagement of his money.

Soon after Johnny became single, he filed a $25 million lawsuit against The Mandel Co., The Management Group, Joel L. Mandel, Robert Mandel, First American Title Insurance Co., and 15 other unnamed defendants. Johnny accuses his former business managers of “gross misconduct” that resulted in him losing “tens of millions of dollars” and he is asking for $25 million in damages. The lawsuit accuses the ex- business managers of taking $28 million in contingency fees, failing to file or pay Johnny’s federal taxes on time, and  “loaning” almost $10 million to third parties without Johnny’s consent.  Johnny claims that his financial situation is so dire due to this mismanagement that he has to sell off some of his assets.

His ex-managers have come out with their side of the story and it places the blame strictly on Johnny’s reckless spending that he alone is responsible for his current disaster of a financial situation. An attorney for the Mandel’s said that the management company worked hard for Johnny for 17 years and they believe that Johnny is using this lawsuit as a way to buy himself some time to delay the sale of his assets. The reason why Johnny is trying to get money out of them is because he allegedly borrowed $5 million from his business managers in 2012. They gave him until 2014 to repay it but by 2016, only about $800,000 had been repaid. The last October they started foreclosure proceedings on some of Johnny’s properties to get the remaining $4.2 million he owes them. They believe this is just a game Johnny is playing to try and get out of paying back the rest of the money he owes.  The reason why they believe this is because the lawsuit was filed the night before some of the properties were supposed to foreclose.

Johnny is one of the highest paid actors in Hollywood. Disney keeps throwing millions of dollars at him for the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, so it is a little confusing at to why, even with owing his ex-wife money and the money that he owes his ex-business partners, that he would be so broke? It just seems so odd to us that one of Hollywood’s most overpaid actor seems to be in such dire straights. We will be following this closely to see how it turns out for Johnny.
